all about me

A largely self-taught artist, creating mixed media productions with the goal of making otherwise ephemeral feelings tangible. Focusing on capturing the lived experience of AFAB, queer, individuals and dealing with the overwhelming power of loss. With experience in oil and acrylic painting, block printing, charcoal and graphite drawing, pen and ink illustrations, resin and textile works, an effort is made to pull together these practices to create a well rounded, all encompassing, emotional artifact. Exploring art as a modality for therapy for the artist as well as viewer.

Born in rural Minnesota and now settling into Minneapolis after years of travelling. Actively building up a creative base and community in this area.

Interested not only in the creation of art but the history of artists that came before. Primarily female artists prior to the 1900s who paved the way for us; what their lives were like and how they were able to bring their unique perspective to the themes in art movements that were overrun with male influence.
